Women and children interenees of the notorious Tjideng Camp in Batavia, Java. Many are seriously ill suffering from dysentry, beri-beri and under-nourishment. These women and children have been forced for three and a half years to exist in conditions not fit for animals. Without sanitation or washing facilities they are still wearing the cloths with which they were interned. Until sufficient help can arrive these women and children must continue to live in the camp. Their homes have been destroyed and many families have been separated into different camps. NI 6061 In het midden Mevrouw Berendina Johanna Lindhorst (geboren 27-03-1907), echtgenoot van Dhr.
